Humawaca

Humawaca

When two Argentinean architects created a range of designer leather accessories the results were instantly recognisable. Structure, design and superior craftsmanship all work together to create Humawaca – a truly modern concept in leather design.

Humawaca explores different design capabilities, often transcending fashion and entering a new territory when it comes to form and structure. Design inspirations take their cue from organic lines as well as from iconic designer furniture pieces.

Carefully constructed bags follow the movements of the body such as the BKF Backpack which becomes more an integral part of the body than simply an accessory. The perfect slingbag, the Aurora, drapes elegantly across the body moving effortlessly with each step.

When functionality calls, the Capone Laptop Case mixes practicality with simple, stylish design.

Humawaca products use only the highest quality leather and suede materials and feature unique distinctions such as tooled leather detailing, practical hardware elements and a striking palette of seasonal colours, often in contrasting hues.

Humawaca has impressed style-leaders all over the world, hailed by Wallpaper* for its design originality. Now available in Australia, the Humawaca collection covers a broad range of products from fashion-forward shoulder bags, casual slingbags, lap top bags, wistful evening bags and now famous backpack design.

Pasion Argentina

Established in 2002, Pasion Argentina designs and manufactures premium quality bags, decorative objects, home accessories, furniture and giftwares. Working with the highest quality Argentinean leather, suede and wood, Pasion Argentina stays true to its cultural origins by integrating native textiles, thereby creating unique and exquisite products, such as the “Monje” bag, which drapes across the body like a scarf and weighs just 200g (RRP $399).

Pasion Argentina is the first Argentinean design company based on the principles of Fair Trade, a commitment to sound environmental practices and social responsibility. Indigenous artistans use skills and design that date back to ancient times, with each weaving taking an average of 15 days to produce. Pasion Argentina works closely with local artisans to preserve their heritage, as well as their way of life, and is currently working with the communities of Wichi (Chaco and Formosa) and Diaguita Calchaqui (Catamarca, Tucuman and Salta).
